6" double points are here! only available in a few sizes, these are more adept for sock and mitten knitters than the longer 8" double points.

I never thought I'd carry plastic needles in the shop, but I can't get enough of these and they are always selling out! As Prym calls them, the "high performance synthetic material" means that the 8" length is actually quite lightweight even though they are the longest DPN (double point needle) in the shop. The triangular shape of the needle shaft makes them easier to hold and allow the stitches to slide more easily, and the "hook tip" drop-shaped tips both help prevent splitting the yarn and keep your yarn from falling off the needle as you complete a stitch. Great for newbies and experiences knitters alike!
