Needle/Hook/Measuring Gauges

You know we love gadgets, and this is simple yet amazing! Figure out your gauge without measuring or counting: lay this ruler over your stockinette swatch (all knit "v"s on same side) and line up your stitches with the marks on the ruler, it will tell you how many stitches to the inch you are knitting! black and white marks make it easy to see on light or dark yarn. When in doubt, you can use the ruler on the side to check it the conventional way! This will work on gauges from 4 stitches/inch (16 stitches over 4 inches) to 9 stitches/inch (36 stitches over 4 inches).
